POKERPORIUM - The Online Poker Store
We're thrilled to announce the grand opening of the internet's newest poker store. POKERPORIUM is your one stop shop for poker books, chip sets, games tables, dealer buttons and card weights. Whether you are searching for a card shuffler, a tournament timer or the latest poker strategy book, you will find it at POKERPORIUM.
Each month, POKERPORIUM features a different author along with an up to date listing of the most recent releases by your favorite poker strategy writers. Additionally, POKERPORIUM lets you know about soon to be released poker books and gives you the chance to pre-order them so you will be the first on your block to own them.
Upon landing on POKERPORIUM'S home page you will be presented with their "Featured Author" followed by "Coming Soon and "Recent Releases". Scroll down a little further and you will find my favorite section, POKERPORIUM'S "Recommended Reading List". This list is divided into categories such as Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, Stud, etc.
Navigation is nicely laid out and easy to follow. For example, clicking on the Poker Tables tab brings you to a page filled with poker and games tables in all sizes and price ranges. They even list a shuffleboard table here. In addition to tables, they sell fabric and accessories to build your own table or repair or enhance your existing poker table.
The meat of the site is the "Book Shop". POKERPORIUM lists over 5oo titles by such authors as Doyle Brunson, David Sklansky and Daniel Negreanu. Their inventory is constantly updated and includes books on poker in all it's forms and variations plus blackjack, video poker, slots and more.
POKERPORIUM also sells a vast assortment of poker accessories to make your home game more enjoyable. From automatic card shufflers to chip trays and playing cards, you can easily improve the look and quality of your next poker night with the guys or gals.
What you won't find at POKERPORIUM are flashing banners that advertise casinos and poker rooms. In fact, the only ad on the entire site is for Full Tilt's "Poker Academy". According to management, they agreed to display that particular advertisement because the Poker Academy fits well with the educational aspect of their business. Another reason for permitting this ad is that the FullTilt Poker Academy is free to join.
