If there's one thing that pisses me off in a big way it's casino spam.
The newest poker room to employ spam as a marketing strategy is Celeb Poker. They have been employing a company from India to spam email accounts and most recently have set up an affiliate site called rakebackcelebpoker.com. This new site appears to be directly owned by Celeb Poker and is now spamming poker blogs with their links.
There are many casino and poker sites who use spam as a marketing tool. Too many! So it's time to name and shame. Every time I receive a spam email or get a spam comment here, I'll post it for all to see.
As a player, what can you do to stop this behavior?
Refuse to support the offending casino or poker site! It's that simple. Just don't play there.
As an affiliate, I promise to never promote or endorse these assholes.
Players and affiliates...
Don't play or promote Celeb Poker!! Cut off their cash flow and maybe they'll cut out the blackhat marketing!
CelebPoker is operated under license from Boss Media... perhaps they should be held accountable as well. What licensees do has a direct bearing on Boss's reputation. Maybe it's time Boss Media stepped up and forced these guys to cut out the spam tactics!
